Noosa Head Beaches

Noosa Main Beach

This beautiful, large beach offers quiet waters and a tranquil beachfront where you can unwind for the day. If you’ve never been to Noosa before, here is a wonderful spot to start by taking a stroll across the sand or trying your hand at surfing. Since the waters are calm, swimming is safe all year round. This beach is an excellent choice for swimming with the kids as the Noosa Surf Lifesaving Club patrolls it every day of the year. Why not visit Hastings Street for some shopping or a meal at one of the beachfront restaurants after a quick swim? It’s the ideal location for a leisurely afternoon or a whole day spent with friends and family. Beware it does get busy in the summer so go early to secure a nice spot!

Little Cove

Take a short 10 minute walk along Noosa National Park and you’ll arrive at Little Cove, this beach is perfect for a romantic getaway as it’s a more secluded beach. Enjoy sunbathing, surfing or sunbaking away from the bustle of Hastings St. You’ll appreciate Little Cove Beach if you like a quiet place to spend the day. For anybody seeking a more private vacation, this beach is the ideal choice. Although this beach is unsupervised, the water is calm enough to swim in.

Tea Tree Bay

One of the most beautiful spots in Noosa National Park is Tea Tree Bay Beach, which is surrounded by lovely trees, golden sand, and blue skies. It’s a great place to relax with friends and family or go for a quiet run or walk. You can find Tea Tree Bay by following the coastal track along Noosa National Park. Here you can enjoy watching the surfers, swim in the clear water, or exploring the coastline.

Sunshine Beach

Sunshine Beach is a short drive from Noosa Heads and is patrolled 24/7, is the ideal location if you wish to travel a bit farther than Noosa Heads. We suggest having a stroll along the long stretch of beach before stopping at the renowned Sunshine Beach Surf Club for a few drinks as the sun sets. Sunshine Beach is unlike any other spot in Noosa. This place is the ideal place to spend an afternoon in the sun because it is encircled by a canopy of lush trees and palms and stretches for 15 kilometres.
